The County of Los Angeles Homeless Initiative asks local municipalities to chip in with their own resources of funding to subsidize the temporary “rapid rehousing” of their homeless residents, according to a newly released draft of the comprehensive plan, which was ordered by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors last August.
